Counseling in Boise, Idaho
Individual counseling provides a safe and supportive environment to share your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and experiences. Counseling can assist individuals in better understanding and managing a variety of concerns while focusing on self-improvement and greater life fulfillment. Individual counseling occurs one-on-one with the therapist and sessions are tailored to meet each client’s unique set of needs.
Counseling encourages the individual to practice self-reflection by utilizing thoughtful questioning and providing careful feedback. However, it is most important that the individual feels accepted, heard, and validated by the counselor as that is what often facilitates the greatest change.
