I help couples navigate disconnection, conflict, and intimacy challenges so they can build stronger, more authentic relationships rooted in mutual understanding and emotional safety. My clients often feel like outsiders in some way; maybe because of their sexuality, their relationship structure, or simply because they’ve never felt like they belonged in the narrow boxes culture has offered them. If that’s you, you’re in the right place.

Whether you’re feeling stuck in the same looping arguments, trying to heal after infidelity, or curious about ethical non-monogamy, I offer a supportive, non-judgmental space where both partners can feel seen, heard, and respected. I work affirmingly with LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples, those navigating kink or sex-positive identities, and relationships facing challenges around trust, desire, or sexual expression. You don’t have to translate who you are for me—I get it.

My approach is grounded in a person-centered philosophy, which means I view you as the expert on your own life. I bring empathy, curiosity, and authenticity into every session, walking alongside you as you gain insight, build emotional resilience, and take meaningful steps toward deeper connection, on your own terms.

I also support men who find it difficult to express vulnerability, manage anger, or feel emotionally disconnected in their relationships. These struggles are more common than we talk about, especially for men raised in environments where softness or sensitivity wasn’t safe. In couples work, I help both partners develop a deeper understanding of these patterns and create space for emotional honesty, mutual respect, and shared safety.

A lot of the work I do involves looking at where we’ve come from: How childhood experiences, religious trauma, or past relationship wounds shape the way we show up in the present. Therapy isn’t about blaming the past—it’s about understanding it enough to break the cycle and choose something different.

I grew up in a farming and ranching family in San Angelo, Texas, and spent years living in Austin before putting down roots in Boise. My path has taken me through classrooms, athletic training rooms, tech companies, rural communities, and big cities. I’ve worked with folks in courtrooms, community clinics, and across a wide range of relational dynamics. Each chapter has taught me how to show up with presence, openness, and an ability to hold space for complexity without judgment.

If you’re feeling lost, disconnected, or simply unsure of how to move forward in your relationship or in yourself—let’s start there. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to begin.
